At its core, Tararira features an editable 8-step sequencer that controls pitch shifting in real time. Each step can be customized and monitored via an onboard display, enabling precise control over sequence behavior, timing, and structure. With selectable step counts and tempo division, users can create anything from simple rhythmic patterns to irregular, experimental sequences.
The pedal includes 27 preset scales and 3 user-editable scales, making it easy to generate musically coherent phrases across a wide range of tonal systems—from traditional modes to more abstract interval structures. Polyphonic support allows chords and complex input signals to be processed smoothly, greatly expanding its expressive potential.
Tararira offers 8 different sound modes, ranging from standard arpeggiation to more experimental textures like glitch-style sampling, organ-like harmonization, and waveform-based synthesis tones. Additional sequence-based effects—such as reverse, randomization, retriggering, and tempo manipulation—further enhance its performance capabilities and allow for dynamic, evolving patterns.
