The Korg Lambda ES-50 is a vintage classic from 1979. With a fully polyphonic architecture (each key has a separate envelope generator, enabling full articulation with no voice drop outs!) and several available sounds for layering, this synthesizer is capable of some truly ethereal tones. The magic happens in the String section; lush analog strings reminiscent of hazy disco dance floors, running through the analog BBD Chorus circuit to sweeten the stereo image. Tastefully layer with some selections from the "Percussive" voice section and you have a sound only possible from the Lambda!
Some unique features of this synthesizer include independent detuning of the two main Tone generators as well as the Master Frequency, Ensemble Phase (speed) assigned to the joystick, separate routing of each section to the Ensemble circuit, Brass section has its own Filter.
This particular Korg Lambda has just been fully serviced at our synthesizer rejuvenation and wellness centre and comes with a 90 day warranty. All electrolytic capacitors replaced, fully calibrated & tuned to factory specifications and cleaned top to bottom, inside and out.
