That way the module can be used for the distribution of only one signal (inputs 2 and 3 are open) or for up to three separate signals (with all inputs connected).\u003cbr\u003eFor input 2 the kind of normalling can be changed so that the (potentionally attenuated) output voltage of unit 1 is used as default signal for input 2 (by altering a solder bridge). In this case level control 1 affects also the units 2 and 3 provided that the input sockets 2 and 3 are not wired.\u003cbr\u003eInput socket 1 can be normalled to +5V by means aof a jumper. In this case the module can be used also as control voltage source (replacement for the obsolete module A-176).
