Serge Tcherepnin himself added and refined the VCOs to keep up with the times, including temperature-compensated 1\/V octave inputs, PWM, a new metronomic clock and balanced outputs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Serge Paperface 50 system consists of two panels. \u003cstrong\u003ePanel 1\u003c\/strong\u003e is the \u003cstrong\u003eTempo di Roma\u003c\/strong\u003e sequencer, whose unique combination of sequencing, programming, switch and logic modules helps the sound generation to reach a new level of sound worlds. In addition to the classic gate sequencer, there are now two 4-Step programmers (also sequencers) that can be operated independently and within Hold, Reset and Up\/Down modes. The new metronomic clock shows itself to be a precise and temperature-stable analog tempo source that fills each of these sequencers with life. In addition, these (or even audio signals) can be linked together via three bi-directional switches for lively and complex interaction. The bottom switch represents something special: Designed as a \"flip-flop\", it is activated by the first trigger and stays on until another trigger turns it off. Next to it there is an additional \"flop output\", as well as a \"peak \u0026amp; trough\" section. For logical signals Peak (Max function) reacts like a boolean \"Or\", while Trough (Min function) reacts like a boolean \"And\". However, the Peak \u0026amp; Trough section is also open to audio and CV signals.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePanel 2\u003c\/strong\u003e of the system is the\u003cspan style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'San Francisco', 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e PARIS-FLASH\u003c\/strong\u003e panel which combines the key Serge modules of the Paperface era, especially slopes and envelopes, into one panel. While it may look like a system primarily designed for CV-Control, it is equally strong in the audio range. \u003c\/span\u003ePARIS-FLASH is based on the original Serge circuitry, however Serge has newly added some exciting new ideas as well as various circuit imoprovements for the anniversary edition. So is the Dual Gates a completely new design that goes far beyond simple VCA tasks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBoth panels are manufactured in a super-slim boat with noble wooden side panel finish and are delivered pre-calibrated.
