This noise machine is equipped with a powerful analog synthesizer oscillator designed to add fine movement in distortion sounds that tend to be buried by distortion.

The filter goes through a distortion circuit that makes the oscillators on the filter circuit sound simultaneously, and the output goes through a filter that is not low-pass or band-pass, but is designed to give a sense of depth to the sound.

It is equipped with two wide-range VCOs (oscillators). The two main VCOs are mixed and sent to filter circuit 1.2, where FILTER.2 strongly amplifies and distorts the input signal while producing an oscillating sound that follows the input bandwidth.

NOISE A and NOISE B control the noise supply to the respective VCOs.

The colour of the RANGE switch (white or black) corresponds to the color of the ON/OFF switch next to the LEVEL knob of the two main oscillators.

When the WAVE switch is turned on, the WAVE knob becomes active and a special WAVE is applied to the SUB OSCILLATOR.C and D.

It can be powered by a 9V center negative DC adapter or a single 9V battery.

Changes from UNVO-1 :

  • NOISE has become more powerful and the bandwidth of the sound has changed.
  • When LEVEL of VCOs is set to 0, only the filter oscillation is input to FILTER.1, not the VCOs
  • Lowering the VCO LEVEL will make the filter more distorted, while raising the LEVEL will make it more defined, allowing you to move the sound image of each VCO in and out.
  • When the LEVEL is set to 0, only the filter oscillation is input to FILTER.1, not the VCO.
  • The variable range of the WAVE knob has also been expanded.
  • FILTER.1 is a double filter that passes a specific band and has a special effect different from bandpass, lowpass, and highpass.
  • FILTER.2 increases distortion and modifies the input of the filter circuit, resulting in a more powerful and balanced VCO.
  • CV IN A is connected to VCO A. CV IN B is connected to VCO B
