The vpme.de QD Quad Drum is a versatile four-voice digital percussion module that combines sample playback, wavetable synthesis, and digital drum modelling in a compact 22HP format. Each voice offers independent control over pitch, decay, and sample selection, with up to 1,536 samples available via the microSD card slot. Its collection of digital drum models covers everything from kicks, snares, and hi-hats to strings and other percussive sounds, making it equally suited to classic drum sounds and more experimental rhythms.
Four trigger inputs and assignable CV inputs provide hands-on control, while dedicated mute buttons and an intuitive interface make performance and sound shaping straightforward. Each voice also features an internal LFO or modulation envelope that can sync to incoming triggers, adding movement and variation to your patterns. A built-in four-channel mixer, two output channels, three-band EQ, and compressor round out the QD’s powerful sound-shaping capabilities, making it a complete percussion solution for modular setups.
